First off, let me say that I've definitely noticed how you've changed the bottom-right signature in your fractals about a billion or so times in the past couple of weeks. I would recommend that you take some time out to figure out how it should look, or if you need one. Consistency is your best bet, and what you choose to be consistent with is very important.

I find it very insightful and original what you have chosen to do with the fractal. While the effect looks kind of like something that would have been done during the 90's, I still like it. I'm not going to comment on the minutia of how you fared with the 3D effect, though, as this seems like it might be a one-time thing.

HOWEVER, I will say that the effect was not up to the par set for 2011, and that in the future, when you choose to try special effects on your fractals, you should do a bunch of research before implementing it. Special effects only work when you're doing it correctly. You could always do a collaboration with another artist who knows how to do a really awesome effect.

Overall, good job. Keep cranking these fractals out.
